Fully automatic: IPCopper packet capture appliances operate automatically and without user intervention or configuration. The minimal installation requires no more than plugging in the power cable, connecting two ethernet cables, inserting the key and pressing the power button.

Requires mirroring switch, hub or splitter: IPCopper has patent-pending technology that allows its appliances to go inline on any Ethernet cable. The competition requires a switch, hub or splitter to divert traffic to their devices, resulting in higher costs, more complex installation, slower network traffic and an additional point of failure.

Complex, always-on encryption: If someone makes an exact replica of IPCopper's hard drive, they would not be able to decifer or use any of the data. In the case of the competition, unscrupulous employees or intruders could simple take or copy the unit and gain immediate access to the recorded data because the data is not encrypted.

An SSL decryption feature is available as a customization. For more information on this custom feature, please contact us.
